This Advanced Interdisciplinary Training is intended for collaborative practitioners who have complete Basic Interdisciplinary Training and have experience participating in collaborative cases.

Keeping You on Top: Surviving the Collaborative Avalanche

 Description of Training:

Working in the Collaborative Process is a lot like skiing in the backcountry. The only one around to help you if you fall is the team you brought with you, and you have to have the right tools to survive in case of an avalanche. Dr. Deborah Gilman will provide detailed training on how to assess clients for suitability in the process from the initial consultation, gather your team for the process, build trust in your team, and develop tools to help assess the risk and avoid impasse.
